I was born in Metropolis, Illinois in 1968. I graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1990 and from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1996. I began working in civil litigation on the day I was sworn into the bar. My first trial was less than one month later. In my practice I have handled cases involving personal injury, workers compensation, products liability, wrongful death, medical malpractice, real estate, and business transactions and litigation. I have always tried to follow one guiding principle throughout my practice, my clients deserve aggressive representation. This includes my taking the time to explain what is happening and why. In an effort to better prepare to fight for my clients rights, I have been or am a member of the Nashville Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, a Moot Court Board Member, and a Tennessee Bar Association Member. I have been admitted to practice in the General Sessions, Circuit, and Chancery Courts of the State of Tennessee as well as the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. I have appeared in virtually every Court in Middle Tennessee as well as the Tennessee Court of Appeals. However, my proudest accomplishment is my ability to bring my client's case to a favorable conclusion.
